Grand Harbour Marina
In the heart of the Mediterranean, Grand Harbour Marina offers a stunning base in historic Vittoriosa, Malta. With berths for yachts up to 100m (325ft) in length, the marina offers all the world-class facilities you would expect from a company with the maritime heritage of Camper & Nicholsons. Whether you are looking for a home port, a base for wintering or charter, or simply want to visit, Grand Harbour Marina offers an unrivalled Mediterranean location. This English-speaking island boasts a rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural beauty, as well as offering the indulgence of five-star hotels, luxury spas and the finest of restaurants.
Approach
On approaching Grand Harbour, the breakwater - with St Elmo lighthouse on its eastern end - is easy to identify. Leaving this to starboard, and the short breakwater off Fort Ricasoli to port, the impressive Fort St Angelo is then rounded to port to enter the final approach channel, marked with small red and green buoys.
Given the volume of commercial traffic in certain areas of Grand Harbour, yachts should contact Valletta Port Control on channel 12 when twelve miles out. They will usually be asked to call again when 1 mile from the entrance, to request permission to enter. Contact Grand Harbour Marina on channel 13 for berthing instructions.
